Winter Workshop
The Rochester Arborist Winter Workshop is held annually on the third Friday in February. We draw folks from five states. It is a one-day event that will leave you wanting more. Unlike many other workshops, we feature one or two top teachers/speakers from the field of arboriculture each year. In 2007 we had Ed Gilman; 2008 - Kim Coder and John Ball; 2009 - Ken Palmer and Rip Thompkins; and in 2010 we had Tom Smiley and Jerry Baranek. Attendees receive 7 hours of awesome instruction at an incredible venue, with great food and fantastic gifts (t-shirts or hats) and great door prizes!
The Rochester Arborist Winter Workshop is held each year at the Rochester International Event Center, located just off highway 63 South at the airport exit, half way between Rochester and Stewartville.
